Sometimes life can be so stressful and overwhelming. Clients can get used to carrying their pain until it feels like they are about to break. It can feel heavy to navigate and starting therapy can feel like an added burden. Maybe they aren’t convinced therapy will be helpful, maybe they are looking at where they want to be and feel like they have no way to get there.
That’s where I come in. By using an integrated and holistic approach that is catered to the individual I am working with, I journey with clients to create a space where they feel safe processing and expressing their unique experiences, needs, and goals for therapy.
I work hard to create a safe, open, non-judgemental space, where clients can bring their burdens and process their pain in a come-as-you-are environment, where they are met with warmth, empathy, and the tools they need to achieve success.

I think the biggest influence on my work is knowing first hand the life changing impact that therapy can have on a life. I have been attending therapy on and off for the past twelve years, and in doing so, have seen my life go from overwhelmingly unbearable, to a life I love to live. I have seen how therapy can transform lives and equip people to be their best selves living fully in their own power. I live to see the moment when treatment clicks for clients, and it is the biggest privilege I can ever have, to journey with clients as they navigate their hardships and come out on the other side.
What I love about working at The Balanced Practice is the way that they approach teamwork. They are a united team and in doing so, they provide clients with the best possible care. I love the way that they journey with clients in a non-judgemental, warm, and kind environment, where people may come as they are and navigate their challenges.
Working with eating disorders excites me because I can see the potential for helping clients learn to love their body, and themselves. I have seen the impact of eating disorders on people and families first hand, and I am passionate about helping people navigate the waters they are journeying through.
